Why

can't I get my friend code? I tried going in and out of the Union Room about 10 or more times and it still says I have to "OBTAIN" my friend code at nintendo Wfc or something. When I already KNOW I HAVE A FRIEND CODE. Can some one please help me?

I also REALLY need my friend code BADLY so I could write it down on paper and put it in my signature so I can trade Pokemon. But of course there is really NO OTHER REASON for a friend code other then to trade pokemon or gradually gain trust in people from around the world and become good friends.

You need to get your wifi started.
Go set up your Wifi settings, first.
(check your instruction booklet)
