Gyms rules

These are our Gyms.
There are all types (normal, fire, grass, water, electric, ice, fight, poison, ground, flying, psychic, dark, bug, rock, ghost, dragon, steel).
Every member can join!

You can join a Gym when you have a team of 6 pokemon level 50 and up (correct type ex. Fire Gym - Fire type team)
You can't use legendaries!

When you want to join one Gym, post in the Gym's topic.
The first who posts in every Gym will be the Gym Leader. Then everyone who posts will battle the Gym Leader and if he wins the Gym Leader he will become the new Gym Leader.

The Gym Leaders will have a Badge in they're signature. When someone becomes a Gym Leader, I'll PM him/her the Badge!
When you are Gym Leader and you lose from someone who want to be the Gym Leader you have to put it off from your signature.

You can be Gym Leader in only one Gym!

y0l3itches: Im gonna add a buffer zone for battles and rematches... Rematches for badge battles is up to a week and 2 weeks for gym leadership. You do not have to battle that same person for a week if you do not want to, this is to protect the gym leaders from spamming of other members that want badges and keep losing to the gym leaders...

I personally think the gyms should be capped at lvl 50, this ensures people have to win using strategy, not brute force, which consequently gives the leaders more chances to be creative with combos because they dont ave to worry abotu haveing to take down something 25 lvls above them so the focus can shift off moves such as fire blast, blizzard etc.

Yes but in the Games Gym Leaders don't have level50 pokemon!

In the games the leaders levels are roughly proportional to what your Pokemon are anyway (at least if u have been battling everyone) which means that the battles are based on strategy not brute force...And most of the leaders have Pokemon below, if anything is above level 50 it would either be Volkner's Luxray which i think is only 48, or something belonging to giovanni but that would only be around 52 because lorelei's levels rest in the mid 50's

i dont mean to break our convo about the way the LV system was designed to work, but i need a few things clarified. 1-how do i battle the gym leader? is it just a simple posting of my friend code? 2-can i just go around battling gym leaders simply to beat them? it would be nice if their were an Elite Four, but i would just like to go beat the Leaders to see if i can.

1-Go to the Gym's topic and post that you want to battle the current Gym Leader

we battle with D/P. If you want to use a pokemom that was transfered from Emerald for example you can use it!
