Help me on my team! Pokemon Platinum

I am currently on my way to the last and final gym.
Anyone Help me please to edit my team..a Staraptor is very tempting but i dont know about it.
Current team
1)Empoleon Level 54
2)Charizard Level 51
3)Dragonair Level 38
4)Lucario Level 39
5)Pikachu Level 19 ( just breed it so it has volt tackle)
6)Gengar Level 25 (just traded it to evolve)
As your can see its not very good at the moment..so yeah any suggestions on how to improve? It would be cool if your could give me a moveset too . Thanks !

just coninue leveling up your pokemon. your gonna want your empoleon or/and charizard and/or lucario up to at least 65. I would suggest luxray too. If you get it up to level 45 or 50 it could be very usefull. you could probably catch a luxio at level 30ish so leveling up won't be too hard.

1)Empolean - good, 2)Chaizard - good, 3)Dragonair - lvl up to Dragonite, 4)Luxio or Pickacu - Use one or the other not both, dragonite can use thuderbolt as another electric option so get a luxray or raichu, 5) Try a leaf poke, hook up to the wifi and get flower paradise shaymin and put him in sky forme if on platinum, or venusaur, celebi (if u have 1), tropius, executor. A leaf poke with psychic or flying would give u a more diverse team. 6) Honchkrow, good to have a dark poke also has high attack and special attack stats, uses moves such as dark pulse, night slash, psychic, shadow ball, fly, sucker punch, heat wave (plat move tutor) or drill peck/sky attack (plat move tutor). Pick moves that are different types from your 5th poke.
