in his box's on firered he has loads of ruby and sapphire pokemon..
i dont know or remeber but isit like d/p where you get the national dex after you complete the game..?
although it wouldnt make any difference to my d/p team.. i just want to know can this be done...

yeah its like d/p
you get the national dex after you defeat the elite 4
and have CAUGHT 60 pokemon

to trade w/ r/s/e
you have to go to the sevii islands
and get the ruby and the sapphire (items) to the pokenet center on island one
and then youll be able to trade

maybe half an hour to get everything

ok, but can you catch legendaries then ( ho-oh, lugia etc..)

yea im pretty sure you can, but you need some event flute thing im pretty sure to get lugia and ho-oh

but all of the legendaries are event pokemon
jirachi is on the colosseum bonus disk
for deoxys you need the aurora ticket
for ho-oh and lugia you need the mystic ticket
mew is only in emerald and you need old sea map
celebi is only in the japanese colosseum

also, you can get ho-oh and lugia w/o events
you can trade them from colosseum and gale of darkness
